This post marks my 100th post on this blog! So actually, I have been actively blogging this past year and I am exhilarated about the fact that my blog have been read by about 4000 viewers. The numbers might be insignificant, but it is a great milestone achieved, and I will work towards my goal of 10,000 blog viewers, as well as about 100 subscribers on my Youtube channel. Talking about Youtube, my TP-Link unboxing video had hit to about 33,000 views and I will do my best to keep the numbers going, by doing more tech videos in the future, if I plan to do so. It has been my hobby to post tech related news and bring informative materials to the world that can benefit them. So I will end off this post by leaving a link to my Youtube. Do subscribe to my channel for future tech videos and keep up-to-date with the latest tech updates! Thanks!

iPad Mini event - 23rd October 2012
On the 23rd of October, Apple launched a new product: the iPad mini. With a stunning 7.9 inch display, it is easier for users to carry around when travelling, due to its lighter weight and smaller design. But has the performance improved? To be precise, I feel that the iPad mini is a scaled down version of the iPad 2, except for the new HD cameras, LTE and Lightning connector that were introduced. It uses the A5 processor that the iPad 2 has, which I doubt that the performance will lose out to the iPad 3 and the newly introduced iPad 4, that has the new A6X processor. Alongside to the announcement of the iPads, new Mac Minis and iMacs were introduced. Sad to say, the Mac Minis were only given the USB 3.0 support upgrade, and new Ivy bridge processors, and there are not much of a difference as compared to the older generations. However, the iMac made drastic changes especially to the hardware design. IT IS STUNNINGLY THIN. I never expect Apple to make such a bold move, and I am really impressed by the team of engineers that designed this new iMac. Apple also introduced the 13 inch Retina Macbook Pro that stands alongside to its 15 inch brother. iBooks 3.0 and iBooks Author were also released earlier today to further improve the quality of their ebooks.

WWDC 2012 RECAP
It has been quite some time since the WWDC 2012 ended, and Apple came out a chain of new devices as well as softwares for the public. The star of the show, the next generation Macbook Pro was indeed stunning and magnificent. With its Retina display and new thinner design, it captivated the mass audience at the keynote. The current Macbook Air and Pros have also refreshed with Ivy Bridge processors (3rd gen). Something new about the new Macbook Air is that it will be using an all new Power connector, the Magsafe 2, which was used on the next generation Macbook Pro. Mountain Lion (10.8) was also a big part of the keynote, which will be available on the Mac App Store in the month of July. New features were introduced, like iCloud integration and Power Nap on the new Software, and is available for US$19.99. It is much more cheaper compared to the release of Lion, which costs US$29.99. Finally, iOS 6 was also announced at the keynote which had new features like Maps, which Apple had replaced their current Google Maps with their own version of Maps. Developers were given the beta version of the new software, and the public release would be sometime later.
